Prince of Peace Lutheran College is a K-12 co-educational, independent, Christian school located at Everton Hills in the north-western suburbs of Brisbane.  The College was established by the Prince of Peace Lutheran Congregation in 1984 to provide quality Christian education to the children of the community.

Prince of Peace Lutheran College offers classes on two sites from Kindergarten to Year 12 with approximately 800 students enrolled.  The Junior Campus (K-6) is located at Rogers Parade West.  The Senior Campus, 1 km away at Henderson Road, was opened in July 2009 and is currently home to Years 7-12.

Business Office Assistant (Applications Close 20 June 2021)

Prince of Peace Lutheran College is seeking a dynamic, capable and committed individual to process daily financial records and complete the purchasing/accounts payable records.

A newly created role, this is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing College and be an integral part of a vibrant learning community. Working under the supervision of the College Accountant, this role involves daily processing of invoices, purchasing, receipting, parent fees and various other financial/administrative tasks.

  • The successful applicant will demonstrate that they are focussed on providing timely support and building positive relationships with all members of the College Community. The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine passion for education and strengthening the business operations of a Christian, community focussed organisation.
  • This role is part-time, term time (44 weeks), 25 hours per week. Applicants should note that this role is 5 days per week with an equal spread of hours each day. With 41 weeks of the year being term-time, this role will also include some work during the school holiday weeks. You must also have a current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • The successful applicant must hold a current Positive Notice Blue Card, which is a requirement for employment prior to commencement.

Bus Drivers (Applications Close 20 June 2021)

The College is seeking applications for the position of Bus Driver, commencing in Term 3, 2021. The following positions are available:

  • Permanent part-time (20 hours per week during term time)
  • Casual driver for as required hours


  • The College operates morning and afternoon runs on the five College buses as well as trips during the day depending on operational requirements (excursions, etc).
  • Hours of duty are 6:30am to 8:30am and 2:30pm to 4:30pm.
  • We require reliable and safety focussed individuals with good driving records to join our bus driving team.
  • While it is advantageous to have a HR or MR licence, for the right person we will provide training to obtain MR Licence.
  • We will also help the successful applicants obtain their Drivers Authorisation through the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads.
  • You must have a current Positive Notice Working with Children Blue Card.
  • All staff are required to contribute to the maintenance of the Christ-centred caring atmosphere and support the mission and aims of the College.
  • Staff are required to be supportive of the ethos of the College by setting an example of personal conduct consistent with a Christian environment.

Primary Years Relief Teachers

The College is seeking to increase its team of relief Teachers and welcomes expressions of interest from suitably qualified and committed Primary Years Teachers who are enthusiastic, innovative, dedicated, and who are willing to support the Christian ethos of the College.
