Prince of Peace Lutheran College is a K-12 co-educational, independent, Christian school located at Everton Hills in the north-western suburbs of Brisbane.  The College was established by the Prince of Peace Lutheran Congregation in 1984 to provide quality Christian education to the children of the community.

Prince of Peace Lutheran College offers classes on two sites from Kindergarten to Year 12 with approximately 790 students enrolled in 2020.  The Junior Campus (K-6) is located at Rogers Parade West.  The Senior Campus, 1 km away at Henderson Road, was opened in July 2009 and is currently home to Years 7-12.

Business Manager


Applications are sought for a dynamic, innovative and capable Business Manager to lead our administration and finance areas. Reporting to the Head of College and College Council, you will demonstrate strong business, finance, infrastructure and people leadership skills that will be supported by extensive industry experience and appropriate tertiary qualifications.


This full-time position (5 year contract) with generous working conditions is available for commencement from October 2020.


As a member of the College’s Leadership Team, this role supports the Head of College and College Council with:

  • Implementation of the College vision, mission and aims
  • Leadership of the College financial/business processes and procedures
  • Implementation of College Council decisions and directions relating to College financial/business management
  • Strategic thinking and planning recommendations to ensure effective and efficient College financial, business and infrastructure developments that support learning
  • Knowledge and assurance that financial, business and human resource management decisions are framed within local, state and federal government regulations.

Experience in the operations and culture of a school environment will be preferred. An active involvement in the life of the College is required. Your ability to uphold the ethos of the College and support the teachings of the Lutheran Church of Australia must be demonstrated.

Primary Years Classroom Teacher – The Arts (Drama, Dance, Media Arts and Visual Arts)


If you are a teacher who is always learning and improving in your practice, passionate about supporting students to become independent in their learning, committed to the holistic development of students and focused on partnering with parents in achieving this, we encourage you to apply for this role.


  • The role will see the successful applicant teaching the Arts curriculum across Prep – Year 6, along with fostering additional opportunities for students.
    This is a part time (FTE 0.8, working Tuesdays-Fridays), permanent position, commencing in January 2021.
  • It is essential that applicants have a demonstrated capacity as a classroom teacher.
    May be required to be available for an interview during school hours, which will include teaching a class (year level and content will be advised to successful interviewees).
