About Katrina

Katrina has worked in Lutheran Education for 15 years, serving in leadership roles for the past five years. Throughout her career, Katrina has worked extensively with students with special needs, in gifted and talented education, in boys’ education and in agile learning. Katrina is a mother of three primary school aged children and is currently completing her Masters in Educational Leadership. Katrina has taught across two states and in two educational sectors. An early childhood teacher at heart, Katrina has taught every year level from Prep to Year 7. Katrina is passionate about agile learning environments and the integration of digital technologies into the classroom. Katrina is a member of Lutheran Education Queensland’s Curriculum Committee and has served in that role for the past four years.

Her Role

Katrina has held the role of Head of Campus P-6 since the start of 2014. In this role, she is responsible for the education and welfare of students and staff, along with the day-to-day running of the campus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Education Primary (Majoring in Physical Education)
  • Currently Completing a Masters of Educational Leadership
  • Graduate of the Leadership Development Program through Lutheran Education Australia
