About Michelle

Ms Michelle Nisbet has worked in Lutheran Education for 30 years, joining Prince of Peace in 2011. Michelle started her career at Trinity Lutheran College, Ashmore as a graduate teacher. During her service to Trinity, Michelle’s roles included Home Economics teacher, Head of House, Teaching and Learning Facilitator, Director of Studies and Daily Staffing Coordinator. She joined Prince of Peace when our first group of graduates were in Year 11, and was tasked with steering the new Senior School. Michelle is the mother of two teenagers (Class of 2018, Class of 2019).

Her Role

Michelle is Head of Campus 7-12 and Head of Teaching and Learning. In this role she is responsible for the organisation, timetabling and supervision of curriculum matters in the Senior School, including overseeing QCAA programmes, Reporting, NAPLAN, and subject selection. Additionally, Michelle is in charge of the day-to-day running of the Senior Campus, and has oversight of student and staff welfare. Michelle has a keen interest in Positive Education and Academic Mentoring.
