Outside School Hours Care (P-7)

Our OSHC programs aim to extend and enrich children’s wellbeing and development through varied and exciting programs that allow children to play and explore in a stimulating environment. OSHC caters to the varying ages, skills, interests and abilities of the children in care, and includes a range of challenging recreational activities in accordance with the ‘My Time Our Place: framework for OSHC’ from the National Quality Framework.

Our service also offers the Active After-school Communities program, a national initiative of the Australian Sports Commission that provides primary school-aged children with access to structured physical activity programs at no charge to families.

OSHC is based at the Junior Campus and run on behalf of the College by Queensland Lutheran Early Childhood Services, on a not-for-profit basis.

We are licensed to have 66 children in care before school and 100 children after school, for pupil-free days and during school holidays.

Families can choose to make permanent or casual bookings for children, depending on family needs.

Our OSHC is accredited under the National Childcare Accreditation Council and Licensed with the Office for Early Childhood Education and Care under the Child Care Act 2002 and Child Care Regulations 2003.
