Waiting Lists
You may place your child’s name on a waiting list for kindy at Prince of Peace from birth. We invite all prospective parents/carers and children to visit our centre during office hours for a look around the centre and a chat Being on the list has its advantages. We keep our waiting list families up to date with what’s happening at kindy.
If you are wishing to enrol into the Kindergarten as well as Prep, you must apply for both at the same time. This will ensure that your name is registered with the Kindergarten and the College simultaneously. Entry into the Kindergarten does not guarantee a place for your child in Prep.
Kindy Eligibility
Children attend Kindy the year prior to starting in Prep. This means
- 2023 Kindy is for children born 1 July 2018 – 30 June 2019
- 2024 Kindy is for children born 1 July 2019 – 30 June 2020
- 2025 Kindy is for children born 1 July 2020 – 30 June 2021
- 2026 Kindy is for children born 1 July 2021 – 30 June 2022
- 2027 Kindy is for children born 1 July 2022 – 30 June 2023
- 2028 Kindy is for children born 1 July 2023 – 30 June 2024
What happens next?
Once we have received your Expression of Interest; you will receive a Confirmation email and we will place your child on our Waitlist System.
Applications for enrolment will be emailed in June of the year prior to entry. Following this, offers will be made accordingly until vacancies are filled.
