Is Prince of Peace a private school?

Yes. Prince of Peace Lutheran College is an independent, co-educational private school for Prep to Year 12, based in Everton Park and Everton Hills in Brisbane’s north.

Is Prince of Peace a Christian school?

Yes. Prince of Peace is a Lutheran Christian College. Christian Studies is taught from Prep to Year 12, and Christian values are part of daily College life, including a weekly whole-school Worship service and Daily Devotion.

Do you have to be Lutheran or Christian to enrol at Prince of Peace?

No. While Prince of Peace is a Lutheran College, families of all faiths – and those with no set faith – are warmly welcomed, provided they share an appreciation for the College’s purpose and values.

Is Prince of Peace a co-educational school?

Yes, Prince of Peace is fully co-educational, with boys and girls learning together from Kindergarten through to Year 12.

Where is Prince of Peace located and which suburbs does it serve?

Prince of Peace has two campuses – the Kindy to Year 6 Junior Campus is located in Everton Park and the Year 7-12 Senior Campus is located in Everton Hills, North Brisbane, around 12km from the CBD. Families come from across the northern suburbs, including Eatons Hill, Albany Creek, Bridgeman Downs, Keperra, Chermside, Cashmere, Warner, Aspley, Bunya, Ashgrove, the Gap and Samford. The College runs 5 bus services each morning and afternoon to service all families.

What does a school chaplain do at Prince of Peace?

The College Chaplain provides pastoral care and supports the emotional and spiritual growth of students, staff and families. This includes leading Chapel and Worship services, supporting the Christian Studies program, and working alongside teaching staff and the College Counsellor.

Is chaplaincy support available at both campuses?

Yes. Our Chaplain is based across both the Junior and Senior campuses, so families and students can connect with pastoral care on either campus.

Do you have to be Christian to see the Chaplain?

No. The Chaplain is available to support the wellbeing of all students and families at our co-educational Christian college, regardless of faith background.

How can I get in touch with the College Chaplain?

Families are welcome to reach out to their child’s pastoral care team or class teacher, or connect with the Chaplain directly on campus.

What support services does Prince of Peace offer students and families?

Prince of Peace offers:

  • on-site psychology and counselling support, including help with anxiety, stress, separation or divorce, and other life transitions, alongside our College Chaplaincy program
  • on-site Occupational Therapy Services
  • on-site Speech Therapy Services

Is the College Counsellor available at both campuses?

Yes. Our College Counsellor supports the wellbeing of students, families and staff across both campuses, helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and build practical, positive coping strategies.

How do I access support services for my child?

All referrals to counselling are made through your child’s pastoral care or class teacher, who will complete a formal request on your behalf. Our Pastoral Care Team can also help connect you with the right support, or you can contact providers directly.
