PoP Calendar Event

The ALWS Walk My Way event is taking place on Saturday, 8th of August! All are welcomed to be involved in either the 3km or 12.5km walk around the Brisbane City River! Enjoy cultural food stalls and live entertainment on the event stage by local African communities. There will also be a kids zone, coffee, places to sit and rest, and opportunities to connect with others. Walk My Way will begin at QUT Gardens Point Campus, Brisbane, taking place from 11am-5pm. Funds raised through supporting Walk My Way will support vulnerable children impacted by poverty and war- specifically, girls living in refugee camps in Kenya and Somalia. $100 helps ONE refugee girl remain in school!
