Sharryn Cook

Chairperson

Sharryn is an active member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church having joined the church and the school in 1998 – on arrival in Brisbane from Adelaide.

She and her husband Terry have been active supporters of the College and their three adult children attended the Prince of Peace Primary School.

Sharryn has been a member of College Council since April 2014 and served previously on the primary school council. She is also a past Chair of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Council (now the Board).

With a professional background in leadership and human resource management, Sharryn brings skills in organisational development, policy, recruitment, dispute resolution, performance management and workforce strategy to her council role.

She is excited by the work being done by the College in partnership with parents, staff and students, and she feels privileged to be part of shaping the future of the College.

Qualifications

  • Masters of Ethics and Legal Studies
  • Graduate Diploma in Educational Studies
  • Bachelor of Education (Secondary)

Experience

  • Workforce Strategy, Change Management, Project Management
  • Extensive Human Resources Experience
