About Coreta

Coreta has been working as an educator in Lutheran Schools for the past 19 years. She also attended a Lutheran College from Year 1 through to Year 12. Coreta has taught in various year levels from Prep to Year 10 before moving into Year Level Coordination, Pastoral Care and Staff Development. She has a strong background with pastoral care and firmly believes that every student has the right to flourish and be the best version of themself.

Her Role

Coreta began her role as Deputy Head of Junior Campus P-6 in 2022. Her primary focus is to work with students and their families within the Prince of Peace Junior Campus community to establish and maintain good relationships. Coreta hopes to enable students to reflect on their choices and be able to verbalise their challenges and how they can restore broken relationships. In her role as Deputy Head of Campus, Coreta’s actions reflect God through her core values of love, service, forgiveness, humility, courage, and hope. These guide her when actively working with the Prince of Peace community, ensuring they feel supported and well equipped to undertake any situation.

Master of Leadership and Management in Education with Distinction
Post-Graduate Diploma Theology in Education
Bachelor of Education (Primary) Majoring in Behaviour Management
Certificate A1 in Spanish, Instituto Cervantes
Certificate II – Childcare and Education
Certificate in Childcare and Education
Accredited Christian Studies teacher and leader
Qualified First Aid and CPR training
